mADELINE WIGHT-WILLIAMS
Madeline Wight-Williams
We imagine that Madeline is seeing something like the picture above - it is our sincere belief and hope that she is still seeing something out there in the world. My wife Judy and I
rescued Madeline (a.k.a. Maddie) about 5 years ago. On Monday, December 3, 2012, Maddie escaped from our dog walker and we have not seen her since that time - however we have, along with small, but dedicated group of relatives and friends, been searching for her ever since. One person in that group, who we never new until losing
Madeline, suggested that we set up a web site for people who want to help find her. Many people want to help Maddie, but due to the myriad of commitments we all have, are not able to help with the "boots on the ground" searches, posting flyers, setting up food stations, going door to door, working with the dog tracker, etc.
So, this is that website and I promise you it won't be too fancy because our day-to-day search efforts are where we are focusing our time. This will not be a webpage to solicit or market anything. We are using the funds to pay for flyers, post cards, mailings, dog tracking services, robo-calls, etc. Some of these search tools are extremely expensive and our sustained search has been very costly. Honestly, the search for Madeline will go on for an undetermined period of time - even if no funds are contributed to this website. Also, if there any funds left at the end of our search, these funds will all be split between the Montgomery County Humane Society and the ASPCA where Judy and I have been contributing on a monthly basis for over 2 years.
Judy and I knew there was a great need to help animals and that is just one of reasons why we rescued Madeline, Polly (dog), Dori (cat) and Mr. George (cat). However, it's only when we lost Madeline that we truly realized how great that need really is and how many dogs, cats, and other animals are lost, abandoned, and treated cruelly by their owners and strangers. We want to thank you for helping in our search for Madeline and if you don't want to help us then please consider contributing to the Montgomery County Human Society and/or the ASPCA.
